Item: Antique Native American Cree Woven Buttocks Gathering Basket Willow & Spruce. This was likely made in Northern Manitoba and in the first half of the 20th century. These were made by the Cree and sold as gathering baskets (eggs, berries, etc). I think this is willow and spruce.
 
Measurements: 12 & 3/4 inches X 12 inches across. 9 & 1/2 inches tall.
 
Condition: Good, previously owned. The condition is very good. There are only very minor signs of age/use/patina.
